The collection of Non-Flowering Vascular Plants (NFVPC), which includes Gymnosperms and Pteridophytes, is an extension of the Plant Families collection. This collection represents a bridge between the Angiosperms (flowering plants) arranged in beds 1 through 40 and the non-vascular plant families which include the mosses, liverworts, and algae. Included in this collection are ephedras, conifers, ginkgo, cycads, ferns, horsetails and clubmosses.
